Short CV

Prof. Kalivas received a BSc in Chemistry from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, California and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington. He has won the “Eastern Analytical Symposium Award for Outstanding Achievements in Chemometrics” (2023), the “Society of Applied Spectroscopy Fellows Award” (2022), the “Jean’ne M. Shreeve NSF EPSCoR Research Excellence Award sponsored by the Idaho EPSCoR office” (2021), the “Camille and Henry Dreyfus Scholar Award, Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation, Inc., New York, New York” (1994) and the “Distinguished Researcher, Idaho State University” (1994). He is the Editor of the “Journal of Chemometrics” (2013-present), Associate Editor of “Applied Spectroscopy” (2010-2024) and serves at the Editorial Board of “Analytical Letters” (1993-present) and Talanta (2007-present).
